II – Communications and Miscellaneous
The OKALA Foundation – for Education invites students who did not qualify for a scholarship for this school year to make greater efforts to meet the award selection criteria for a new scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The Foundation would like to remind students that scholarships are for academic excellence and the minimum average to claim a scholarship is 65%, among other criteria.
The Foundation would also like to thank past scholarship recipients for taking the time to send their testimonies on how the Foundation has benefited them with their education journey. Your contributions make the difference.
In this regard, the OKALA Foundation – for Education would like to extend its gratitude to Mrs. Justine Okala for her pledge to donate 100,000 FCFA (about 200 USD) to the Foundation. You help us make a difference – Thank you!
To improve communication and for better follow-up of scholarship holders, the Foundation recommends that all scholarship holders have an email address. Applications sent from cybercafés will no longer be accepted. They do not offer the Foundation the possibility of contacting the candidates, in case of need for additional information. Each candidate is therefore invited to create their own email address.
• The next General Assembly of the OKALA Foundation will take place in December 2023.
TO EVERYONE, the OKALA Foundation wishes you a successful 2022-2023 school year.
